Ferry Pictures
As promised here are more pictures from the ferry. I have the best group of boys... they suffer through family photos :-).

Another trip to Disneyland
I know, I know, I have the BEST Job in the WORLD! So last week I had to go down to Burbank with some of my coworkers for a confernce. While we were there we we got to take an Access class (I know sounds boring, but to me I LOVED IT and I learned so much!!). Then On tuesday night we particpated in Minnie's Moonlight Madness, which is a scavenger hunt through the park after it has closed... sorry no pics. Then Wednesday was our "Team Building" day. So the four of us went to the park.
Here is two of my coworks, Molly an Admin from another department and Cindy (the blonde) is my counterpart who I adore working with, she is really great.
We were on the tram on the way into the park. Molly hadn't been there since she was 4 and she was VERY giddy. It made me seem not so pathetic to be excited to be heading back again!

This is Cindy & I in line for the Jungle Cruise, I love this ride, but this time the guide was TERRIBLE. I had hoped to go again so I could forget that expierence, but no luck! You may be wondering how you can be bad at the Jungle Cruise jokes, trust me you can!

This is our third co-worker Lynn (she is also David's boss). This picture was taken right after we loaded onto the River Ride... before we all got SOAKED to the bone.. BEFORE my camera broke... that's right no more pictures. After this one my camera turned off and never came back on. Thank goodness for memory cards!

It was a great trip. Between the access class, the team building and the Accounting conference I had a great time!

Memorial Day!
We had a great day on Memorial day. For a treat we decided to drive down to the Point Defiance Zoo & Aquariam in Tacoma. It started out an interesting day... I got my first EVER speeding ticket. I am REALLY bummed about his. 13 years of driving and this is the first time I have EVER gotten a ticket. The worst part is after he wrote the ticket my mom recognized his name as one of my older's sister's boyfriend and a neihbor of ours, so he said "if I had know who you were I would have just given you a warning" :-O. I could not believe it... so now the debate of should I fight it, go in and ask to reduce it or buck it up and pay the ticket. It just stinks, but I guess it was bound to happen at some point.
So we arrived at the zoo and had a great time!

Here is Josiah Posing for a picture.

The Elephants.

Me and the boys being eaten by a shark...

Josiah enjoying the starfish.
On the way home I decided it would be fun to drive up to Kingston & take the ferry home. Josiah had only been on a passenger ferry & not a car ferry before so off we went.

I wish I could tell you how many takes this picture took... boys.
I will have to post our ferry's pictures later... I am having issues with the blog tonight.

One of my favorite things...
For those of you who have never been to Disneyland, or for those who have never noticed it, there is a Silhouette shop in Disneyland. Now, you maybe wondering what I am talking about, but first let me describe it.
It's a small store front and I mean small, three of us in the store made it so crowded you couldn't move. On one side a lady sits in a char with a small pair of scissors and a stack of black paper. A chair sits in front of her for her guests. Next to her another Cast Member is glueing the silhouettes to paper and selling them with the optional frame.
I had this done with Alex years ago (I think he was two and I brought a picture of him with me).
Well this last trip, I wanted both the boys to sit in the chair and have this done to hang on my wall. On Saturday night I had to drag both boys away long enough for this to happen. I really wish I had gotten photos of her doing this amazing talent. She Cut Josiah's face out in less than a minute & Alex the same way. Then they were glued. It is by far one of my favorite souvenirs that I will proudly hang on my wall for a long time...
Below is a scanned verison of it, I don't think it does it justice, remember, these heads are two seperate pieces of paper glued down and hand cut.

Finally! More Disneyland photos....
on the jungle cruise...

My brother in law, Luke and my mom enjoying Goofy's company. in case you were wondering, Goofy is the one in the middle, not the one on the right.

Kim & Cori with Goofy...

Dale just didn't give up (see earlier post), he really wanted that plate of food, he is lucky to be alive

Nothing like embarassing teenage boys in disneyland....

I actually love this picture, but Chris is purposely looking down... I guess my new talent in photshop will come in handy, when I get the new and improved photo I will post it.

I really wish we had gotten more pictures of Gunnar & Alex, but they were trying really hard to avoid the camera.

The next few photos are from the Buzz Lightyear ride. We all rode it a couple of times and competed against each others score... it was a BLAST...

There are some new photos for you.... I will add some more later!
Enjoy!

Jedi Josiah
Jedi training, what is it you ask. It's training for kids to be real Jedi's. And if you didn't already know, Josiah is a HUGE Star Wars Fan. The first show we attended the "Force" did not direct the Jedi trainer to pick Josiah, but luckily the "Force" picked him a second time- thanks to Cori lifting him up and him wearing a darth vader t-shirt.
Josiah had to be a good listener and stay in his circle, cause no one likes a clumsing Jedi.
after learning to master the Jedi Light saber there was a disturbance in the force and none other than Darth Vader & Darth Mal show up to try and convince the new Jedi's to come to the dark side. Each child got the chance to fight off one of these dark villians and each was successful in their attempted to keep the force strong.
The video is off my digital camera so it's not the best... but at least you get to see it.
And it's offical, certificate & all. Josiah is a jedi. I feel so much safer now. He has his own cloak & light saber. he has worn the cloak for three solid days.
Alex & Josiah, Then & Now
This was one of the photo's I wanted to recreate, I didn't happen perfectly but at least I got it.

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Wednesday was a good day. We drove through southern Oregon & most of Califonia.

We hit a little bit of snow in the mountains and in Yreka where we stopped for lunch. Here is Josiah trying to catch some snow on his tongue.

Alex avioding the Camera as usual

Here is a site you don't want to see driving down I-5

Lucky for us it was being towed.
Thursday started out simple enough, we headed out of our hotel around 8:00 in the morning. we stopped by the studio lot to have some fun. This was my dad's first look at a Hollywood studio, now there isn't much to see but it's still fun to say you have been on one. The highlight was this... what I believe to be part of the Black Pearl from Pirates.

There is also a corner called "Pluto's corner" on the lot that has the famous street sign that has been there since the begining. It has a fire hydrant on it, and I am sad to say that Alex had to point out he connection between the name and the fire hydrant (Get it, dog's love fire Hydrant's).

We did some shopping at the studio store then headed off to anaheim. We arrived shortly after 12:00 and waited for my sister Kim, her husband Luke, and her two boys, Chris & Gunnar.
Once they showed up it was off to the park!
Chris & Josiah looking at the map while we wait for Space Mountian

Everyone on the Jungle Cruise

Cool dude, Josiah

Another cool Josiah Shot

And this shot is one Josiah has been hoping for... he was FINALLY tall enough to ride Indiana Jones... by a fraction of an inch. When the cast member told him he was tall enough we all clapped & cheered! It was a very exciting moment for him, up until we got into the scary line. He didn't want to go but we talked him into it and he loved it!

We had dinner at Goofy's kitchen thursday night. Since My mom, Kim & I were all celebrating our big birthday's this year we got the royal treatment... did I
mention that I am the youngest? Kim turns 40, my mom turns 60 and I am only turning 30.

Not s smart chipmunk... he was asking David if he got the plate for him... he needs to learn that David will smack your hand away if you try and touch his food, I was worried dale may lose his life.
